This is a ten item scale that assesses the extent to which people feel that a global health pandemic (i.e., COVID-19) poses realistic threat to their health and financial safety and symbolic threat to their social identity. The Coat of Arms Identity Formation Paradigm is an interactive group task that allows groups of participants to form a meaningful group identity in the lab.
